Alec is a Partner in KPMG’s banking and insurance risk and regulatory practice and leads the UK firm’s treasury and insurance practices and globally leads the firms’ balance sheet advisory offering. Prior to joining KPMG he had a long pedigree in structured finance, and had led structuring, sales and trading teams. He also was the accountable exec for running and hedging the balance sheet  at two leading banking institutions. He has deep expertise in regulated balance sheet management and optimisation, risk management, treasury, capital markets. Alec is also a qualified UK solicitor and practiced for a number of years in securities and structured finance.
