Andreas Wilgen is Managing Director at Fitch Ratings, where he leads a team of credit analysts focused on private credit securitization structures, including credit fund finance and rated note feeders.

Prior to his current role Andreas was co-head of the Global Cross Sector team in Structured Finance, which focuses on non-traditional structured finance. Prior to this he was the Group Credit Officer for Global Structured Finance, leading a team that is acting as a check and balance on the ratings team, providing additional perspectives and research to protect the quality of Fitch’s ratings.

Earlier roles included co-Head of US ABS in New York, the head of the EMEA ABS in London, and credit analyst in Structured Credit. Andreas began his career at Fitch in April 2005 after having earned the degree of Diplom-Kaufmann at the University of Cologne and an M.B.A. from Eastern Illinois University.
