Sebastien Illat is the global head of Credit Structuring and co-heads Barclays’ Structured Credit business, which encompasses structured financing (EM and DM), Credit structured notes and CLOs. Prior to this role, Sebastien was leading the CLO issuance platform globally, a role he held after successfully re-building the European CLO franchise at Barclays in 2013. Sebastien started his career at Barclays in 2005, as a junior analyst in the Credit structuring team, focussing on the execution of European CLOs and CDOs. He holds a master degree from Ecole Centrale Paris.
