Brian has been involved in Financial Services for over 40 years, having been a senior executive with 4 lenders over that period and has built several successful management teams.
 
His experience includes 13 years within the retail branch network of the Halifax in the 1980’s, 10 years from start-up in one of the first broker distribution centralised lenders in the UK (HMC) and 8 years in the specialist sector (Future Mortgages) as a main board director. Future was acquired by Citigroup in 2001. He then became an investor and main board director in Beacon Group, in 2003 which launched its own specialist lender in August 2005.

In 2008 he co-founded Rockstead where he is Group CEO. Rockstead is a governance, risk and compliance company which has campaigned to improve standards throughout financial services.

Having been involved in the sector for over 4 decades, including overseas lending experience, he is well known in the mortgage sector and has led successful strategies for lenders, funders, distributors and service suppliers. He has a reputation for ‘telling it as it is’.
