Federico Travella is a Belgian-Italian entrepreneur and Founding CEO of Novicap, a leading FinTech scale-up out of Barcelona. He established Novicap to provide end-to-end working capital solutions to SMEs, mid-market corporates, and public administrations. For seven years, he served as CEO, during which Novicap won numerous awards like Alternative Finance Provider of the Year, SME Finance Provider of the Year, and was listed in the Financial Times' FT1000 list of Europe's fastest-growing companies for three consecutive years. Today, Novicap supports thousands of businesses with their working capital needs. Previously, Federico was an MD at Rocket Internet, where he led the rapid expansion of ventures across APAC, including successfully scaling Lazada, which exited to Alibaba Group. Federico is a mentor to many entrepreneurs, advises supranationals, funds, and banks on innovation and tech investments, and is a recognized thought leader and frequent speaker in venture capital, trade finance, and FinTech.
