Francesco Dissera

Managing Director, Alantra

Francesco is the head of the SFABS team at Alantra.

He comes from Santander IB, where he led and established the continental European securitization team focusing on public and private transactions for capital and financing purposes.

Prior to Santander, he was head of Structuring & Advisory at StormHarbour for more than four years.

Francesco has more than 24 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets

He spent 14 years at UBS AG, building the securitization and covered bond business across EMEA: most recently, he led the EMEA securitization team.

Prior to UBS AG, Francesco spent three years at JP Morgan in London and New York, where he was involved in the execution of the very first Italian ABS transactions (performing, nonperforming, and public loans). Francesco originated and executed more than 80 ABS transactions across EMEA, with a focus on FIG, Corporate and Government related assets.

Francesco has originated and executed more than 90 ABS transactions across EMEA, with particular focus on FIG, Corporate and Government related assets.

He has great experience in enabling both internal and external issuers to finance residential and commercial mortgages; personal loans and student loans; auto loans and leases; non performing secured and unsecured loans; healthcare and Government related receivables and corporate receivables (trade and long term contracts). In 2018, he also established a NPL Luxembourg based fund to invest into Italian unsecured claims : between 2008 and 2012 he was a board member of the Iberia servicer, Lisbon headquartered, Finsolutia.

Francesco is based in London and his geographical focus has historically been Italy, Iberia, Switzerland, UK, Greece and Poland. He has also executed transactions in France, Belgium, Eastern Europe and UAE.
