Joy Amis is a Partner in Herbert Smith Freehill's securitisation practice in London, advising on public and private securitisation transactions across all of the core securitisation asset classes, portfolio acquisitions and forward flow. Alongside her transactional securitisation work Joy has a practice advising on product regulation for securitisations, and bank prudential capital. Joy's work in the capital space includes pure advisory work, private AT1 and Tier 2 instruments, and significant risk transfer and credit risk mitigation transactions (cash and synthetic/insurance trades).
