Max Stienberg
Max Steinberg, is CEO for Stonehill, a structured credit fund which has been seeded by the Murdoch Family Office. Previously Mr Steinberg worked as an Investment Director for Macdoch Asset Management Limited, a tributary of the Murdoch family office. Mr Steinberg headed the direct opportunities for the firm, with a particular focus on structured credit. He led the firm’s investment in Equity Release Mortgages, Student Loans, Real Estate Reversions, and Synthetic Risk Transfer transactions.
Prior to joining Macdoch, Mr Steinberg worked for Levy Capital Partners, (Morris Family Office), and Talisman Global Asset Management, (the Pears’ family hedgefund), where he focused on multi-family MBS, Lifetime Mortgages and led the firm’s investment in the residual note of the UKGI sale of Income Contingent Student Loans.
Mr Steinberg holds a BSC in Economics and is a CFA charterholder.
