Michael is the Head of Treasury Legal at Nationwide Building Society, the world’s largest building society and regular issuer of RMBS via its Silverstone programme. He leads a team of specialist capital markets lawyers who fully support Nationwide’s Treasury function across the full range of its activities, including short and long-term wholesale funding, capital, derivatives and liquidity. Prior to joining Nationwide in 2015, Michael practised in the global finance group at Sidley, as well as at Barclays and the FCA.
