Monica is the head of capital optimisation and securitisation at Lloyds Banking Group, responsible for optimising the asset side of the balance sheet.  She joined Lloyds Banking Group in 2005 from Fortis Bank. Under her direction, the Group has successfully managed delivered transactions and programmes, providing funding and ensuring more capital efficiency, balance sheet velocity and reduction of the legacy portfolios.

Monica has held various positions across Lloyds Banking Group in capital markets, portfolio management, ran the legacy Irish mortgage business and Treasury. She holds a Master of Science in Econometrics of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
